Abstract :
The Ethernet networking provides a lot of advantages to the factory automation as an industrial networking. However this also provides the possibility of unintentional and unexpected accesses, when no appropriate security management has been taken. The new approach to the securing industrial communication is required, because security concepts from the office world make little allowance for the demands of factory automation.
