Abstract :
Internet services cannot be continuously used when the authentication server stops. In Open ID, there is a method of continuously using the services by registering two or more identifiers on the services prior to usage. However, to utilize this method, the user should register for each and all services. In this paper, we propose identity migration in Open ID to solve the problem of the disruption of the services for the servers. Identifier and verification information are passed to an authentication server B as a backup from an authentication server A. When the authentication server A stops, identifier and services can be continuously used by presenting the required information through authentication server B.
