Abstract
The Linee is a software of Linux, which emulates the Ethernet. We have been developing it for opensource license. The Linee is inserted between two Ethernet segments like a bridge hub and can generate the line disturbances which are delay, frame discards and policing. Because Linee is a software you can use your PC as an Ethernet emulator. It works as a repeater hub rather than a router. Thus it is not required to change IP addresses of the hosts connected to the emulator. In this paper we introduce this software and its architecture and discuss the characteristics for delay precision
