Abstract :
The system benefit of dynamic route guidance system (DRGS) depends on the link cost data used when routes of cars are selected. Sometimes DRGS causes another congestion as the proportion of guided vehicles increases. In this paper, a new strategy for dynamic route guidance based on drivers “link reservation” is proposed, and its effectiveness under high penetration condition is shown
