    Ecological assessment of highway network development plan is performed to reduce the influence for natural environment. Analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy theory is applied to ecological assessment of highway network development plan. The assessment indices model for ecological assessment of highway network development plan is given firstly, ecological assessment model of highway network development plan based on analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy theory is established. We apply the proposed method in a certain highway network in Chongqing, and the fuzzy assessment values of the indices for ecological assessment of highway network development plan are gained. Finally, the assessment results for ecological assessment of highway network development plan are gained.
