Abstract
Due to basic physical constraints and technical possibilities, the quality of microwave subsurface holographic imaging is poor, compared with optical holography. Spectral analysis quantitatively describes the speckle structure distorting experimental holographic images of a test object and opens a way to radically improve the image quality by means of coherent multi-view measurements.
