Abstract :
Using an effective permeability relationship as a function of the physical and geometrical design variables of the inclusions, a novel design recipe for AMMs with given specifications in term of effective permeability within a certain frequency bandwidth and the minimum permissible loss was developed. The outcome of the procedure proposed here is the geometrical parameters of the inclusion. We emphasize, however, that the procedure is based on a circuit model of the AMM unit cell.
