Abstract
This paper presents analysis of network topologies from survivability point of view. Four kinds of network models including the Barabasi-Albert model and a new application of CRUG type models are examined and discussed. A new network topology generator (CRVG) is also evaluated. Modeling results proved that the proposed CRVG model offered a significant reduction in the number of articulation vertices compared to the other models. CRVG supports survivability better.
