After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

In business and IT alignment, the implementation of IT is determined by business objectives and its services. In order to help organizations invest wisely in IT and makes the best use of the current facilities, this paper aims to deliver a method for assessing the value of IT application. The method provides guideline in IT evaluation process and assesses value based on the perspectives of stakeholders. This study is carried out under Business Aligned IT strategy (BAITS) architecture and combine with technique from organization semiotic. The paper validates the approach by involving a case study in banking in China.
