Abstract :
On the basic of summarizing the methods of triangulation for points cloud data, a triangulation algorithm for point clouds of body surface was realized in this paper. This algorithm searched the nearest neighbors of boundary points by using the algorithm of k-nearest neighbors quickly, constructed triangles based on the boundary ring of incremental algorithm, and realized the construction of topological mesh. These examples show that triangulation mesh for point clouds of body surface can be constructed effectively and steadily.
