  • Abstract
    Along with the matured technologies for 3DTV, the terrestrial 3DTV broadcasting service in Korea has been being prepared. Other than many characteristics, Korean terrestrial 3DTV broadcasting system is backward compatible with the current 2D HD broadcasting system in Korea. Also, it is Full HD format (for both left and right eyes). Thus, there is no need to allocate additional terrestrial channel to terrestrial 3DTV broadcasting service. In this paper, the image quality issue of Korean terrestrial 3DTV broadcasting system is presented.
