Abstract :
This paper presents a WLAN card´s MIMO antenna structure, which uses three loops implemented with geometrical discriminations to produce diversities. Potential methods that utilize ground strips and slots to compromise the return and insertion (isolation) losses are numerically and experimentally examined. Data throughput via a realistic system implementation was also examined, which has shown that the proposed antenna structure as well as the examined isolation treatments is very effective in improving the communication quality.
