  • Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to address tubular linear induction machine which is the electric generator of the Stirling cogenerator system. The architecture is original. To our best knowledge, there has not been any linear asynchronous generator being commercialized. The electrical generation comes from the conversion of mechanical energy due to the beatings of a piston surrounding the coils, in which the induced currents are generated. Because of these beats, the piston´s speed changes continuously that the system is in transient regime. The modeling of this generator is complex, particularly because of the end effects. In this article, after a brief presentation of the analytical model, the results of this model will be compared with the measurements. This project is financed by ANR.
