Abstract
The problems associated with applying the Walsh-Hadamard transform to the design and implementation of the isotropic quadratic filter are addressed. We examine some interesting properties of the isotropic quadratic filter kernel and propose a new formulation of the quadratic filter. A running WHT algorithm is also proposed. The new algorithm is then applied to a nonlinear system modelling problem
