  • Abstract
This paper depicts an automatic procedure using MATLAB software to plot circle diagram of an induction motor (IM), namely wound rotor, from no-load and blocked rotor tests. The interest of this approach is to avoid direct test load for predetermining the IM characteristics under reduced powers. Besides, to verify the validity of the equivalent circuit parameters deduced from experimental tests, the IM is used to simulate a virtual machine implemented under Simulink/PSB model. The work is concluded with a load test which validates the model. The proposed method will be integrated into electric machinery courses at Mentouri University, Constantine, Algeria.
