  • Abstract
Reliability of mechanical system is closely related to manufacturing quality of the parts, assembly quality of the system, and its working states, including working structure, load, lubricant, vibrancy, temperature, and so on. After the machine manufactured, the design, manufacture and assembly qualities determine the inherent reliability of the products. However, the uncertainty of the working state of the mechanical system at the working stage makes the randomness of the system failure rate of different time segments. This paper builds up the relationship of the system states and its reliability by state-driven reliability model which gives mature consideration of the co-effect of the influencing factors and uncertainty of working state. With this model, this paper gives the analyzing method of system failure rate stochastic characters and simulates the reliability changing curve by Monte Carlo simulation method. Finally, a spindle box of a machine tool was modeled and analyzed as an example.
