Abstract :
A compact microstrip slot antenna is proposed. It presents the very small size of 0.19 lambdag times 0.19 lambdag at the resonant frequency of 1.37 GHz, which represents a size reduction of 48 % compared with a conventional microstrip slot antenna. The proposed antenna exhibits a gain of 1.6 dBi.
