Abstract
Versatile methods for passive compensation of nonideal operational amplifiers used in high-frequency active RC-filters are presented. Two main filter building blocks, inverting and noninverting integrators, are made ideal for amplifiers having a single pole gain roll-off using an additional resistor for each integrator. The methods are applicable to all integrator-based filters, such as biquads and ladder filters, as well as some single amplifier biquads. Computer simulations and experimental results confirm the theories. An elliptic bandpass filter is considered as a design example
