Abstract
Based on the theory of MTF detection of remote sensors and image restoration, this paper introduces the wavelet transform and multi-resolution analysis, and then talks about how to de-noise remote sensing images and preserve the edges using wavelet transform. Firstly, wavelet is transformed, after which, the low frequency sub-channel is used to detect MTF, and the high frequency sub-channel is used to de-noise images. The experimental results show that the algorithm is effective to restoration of remote sensing images and is brief especially.
