Abstract
Design and development of electrical machines require a good accuracy model with a low time process. Compared to finite element analysis and analytical model magnetic Equivalent Circuit (MEC) presents compromise between time process and accuracy. This paper presents two MEC method used to modeling a unipolar permanent magnet synchronous machine (PMSM) (only one permanent magnet per pole pair). Average torque and flux are compared to FEA.
