Abstract :
This paper presents characterization and analysis on a novel three-phase zero-current-transition (ZCT) inverter. The proposed ZCT control scheme is described, and methodology of the ZCT inverter design, control, and hardware implementation is addressed. The inverter has been tested to full power level with desired ZCT operation, demonstrating significant improvement in efficiency and reduction in voltage and current stresses over existing techniques
