Abstract :
Third-party reverse logistics (3PRL) has created new and innovative opportunities for academic researchers and business communities to explore the strategic, economic, environmental, and regulatory implications of recycled, remanufactured, and disposed products. This paper first considered and analyzed the relevant literature in 3PRL and identified the present state of theory in selecting 3PL; secondly this paper introduces a model for dealing with selecting third-party reverse logistics (3PRL) providers in the presence, the proposed model is based on analytical hierarchy process (AHP); finally a numerical example demonstrates the application of the proposed method.
