  • Abstract
After rapid growth of the Internet, establishing hidden communication is an important subject of security that has gained increasing importance. One of the methods for establishing hidden communication is steganography. On the other hand with the expanding the use of mobile phones mobile telecommunication companies starting to add additional features to their mobile phones such as MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) in order to attract more customers. And users can securely communicate its secrets by means of sending and receiving MMS messages. The Smartphone devices are both popular and ubiquitous, and they can be used as an “all-inone” device for steganography. The users can shoot photos, and use them as carrier message by means of the computational capacity of the smartphones, the users can also embed and retrieve small messages into the photos stored into the device. The advent of computers improved the range of applicability or the steganography. Nowadays both the secret and the carrier may vary from pictures to music. By means of complex computation it is also possible to embed, or to detect, large secrets into huge carriers. A branch of data hiding close to the steganography, is the watermarking, that has common usage in the protection of copyrights of digital media, such as art images, music, and video.
