  • Abstract
    This paper presents the design and evaluation of an intelligent tourist guide system that runs on Android tablets with GPS feature. The main steps of system design and implement are described in detail. The results of a follow-up user study show that the intelligent tourist guide system is very helpful for tourists, particularly enhancing self-guided tours and improving tourists´ experience in their touring.
