Abstract :
A meandered annular ring slot antenna fed by a coplanar waveguide feed line with a tuning stub for miniaturization of a conventional annular ring slot antenna has been presented and experimentally studied. The experimental results show that the size can be significantly reduced by introducing meandered slots to the conventional annular ring slot and that the resonant frequency can be adjusted without change in total area size.
