Abstract
A printed dipole antenna with a parasitic element of dual-band operation is proposed for WiMAX applications. The lower-operating band is obtained from dipole arms. By using the technique of coupling dipole arms and a parasitic element is proved to form a dual-band operation. The proposed antenna was successfully implemented and verified. It also has a compact size and good radiation performances.
