Abstract :
A method to model drum level system is proposed that divides the system into two subsystems which contains three variables: loop subsystem for working substance which contains water-supply and discharge pipe of steam, and drum. The models are formulated. Based on models, a fuzzy-2DF-PID controller is designed. Simulation results under three kinds of reference input demonstrate that the controller is favorably compared to 2DF-PID controller for drum level system in tracking step, ramp-constant and acceleration-constant input. And it also restrains perturbations for its 2DF structure.
