Abstract :
In this paper a novel wideband printed monopole antenna has been proposed, fabricated and tested for wideband signal reception in the 530 MHz ~3 GHz. And the proposed antenna can be applied to receive the signal on DVB band, as well as GSM/DCS/PCS/UMTS and WLAN bands. The proposed antenna has an advantage of simple configuration, low profile, easy to fabricate and low cost, therefore it will be an attractive candidate for many wideband applications.
