Abstract :
A scattering center model of an echoic measurement environment has been presented. The approach is directly incorporated in a low complexity near-field transformation algorithm, employing plane waves as equivalent sources and utilizing efficient diagonal translation operators. This allows reducing the effects of reflected and diffracted signal components in non-ideal measurement facilities and only some additional field information obtained by oversampling the AUT field distribution is necessary. The far-field pattern obtained from a simulated full-wave near-field measurement scenario showed a good performance of the approach.
