Abstract
The purpose of the following paper is to introduce various types of unevenness encountered in mines and their respective influence on the radio signal time dispersion; a phnnomenon of a remarkable importance in wideband communication systems such as WLAN, WiMax (3.7 GHz band) or ZigBee (a 2.45 GHz band version operating at 5 MHz-wide channels) which can be deployed in underground sites for communication, telemetry and identification.
