Abstract
In this paper we report some of our efforts and results to enhance the UG EM education at the New Mexico State University (NMSU) by using (1) a hybrid of problem-based learning (PBL) and active/cooperative learning (ACL), and (2) in-class activities including visual aids and interactive teaching methods.
