Abstract
This paper presents the proportional-integral (PI) controller design for uncertain time-delay systems via the T-S fuzzy model based approach. Without loss of generality, time-varying delays are considered in state, output, and input. By utilizing the T-S fuzzy model representation, the output-feedback PI control is introduced, where the PI gains are designed from strict stability analysis and LMI techniques. Even if considering full delayed input and output, the PI control assures asymptotic regulation. Furthermore, iterative gain solving algorithms and state observer are not required. Finally, a time-delay control system is taken as application examples to show the expected performance.
