Abstract
In this paper, we report our newly observed phenomenon in magnetically trapped 87Rb condensate to form the multiple components of condensate in the F=2 hyperfine state. Different from confining the condensate in optical trap or RF transition between hyperfine components in magnetic trap, only a magnetic trap is used in our investigation. In our case, the multiple components of condensate are formed during the process of switching off the magnetic field, in which no RF source is used to transition of one hyperfine component to other one. A numerical analysis is given to explain the phenomenon observed in our experiment
