  • Abstract
    A method of building communication equipment simulator aiming at the difficult problem of large equipment training is presented. Simulator is built based on virtual reality and its framework is designed to layered architecture and framework. Geometry model of equipment simulator is created with software named Multigen Creator. Its key technologies including geometry modeling, training environment modeling, operation action modeling and simulation driving are detailed. Finally, plug-in software framework is adopted to development the simulator and simulation examples of certain integrated tactical communication simulator is introduced to prove its feasibility of this method. It can provide beneficial reference for constructing similar large-scale equipment training simulator.
