Abstract
General synthesis methods of immittance functions and immittance elements using second-generation current conveyors (CCIIs) are proposed. Immittance functions which consist of various immittance elements in series or in parallel can be simulated systematically by choosing the number of CCIIs and passive elements. Immittance elements which are proportional to the nth (n is an integer) power of complex angular frequency can be obtained. It is shown experimentally that the inductance simulator and the 2nd-order high-pass filter using a resistance-inductance parallel simulator work successfully.<>
