  • Abstract
The study of the regional technology innovation ecosystem (RTIE) derives from the revelation on the natural ecological system. This paper, proceeding from the basic thinking of the entropy theory, discusses the idea of entropy of RTIE and advances the concept of performance entropy with the analysis of the structure of performance entropy flow and the structures of performance entropy. And based on the soft thinking methodology (SSM), we build up the indicator system for the evaluation of regional technology innovation performance, and then the computation of performance entropy of the technology innovation ecosystem in terms of administrative region is provided through the building of relevant models (entropy analysis and factor analysis). Finally we use rank correlation method to verify the degree of relationship between the two evaluation methods.
