  • Abstract
Technology transfer is the application of new technical ideas into products. For ideas applied into products intended for government or military use, there are several applicable metrics that are used to guide decisions about readiness. In making decisions about development, it is important to involve stakeholders from the technology side and the application side. It is always a challenge to develop a new product or technology. It is not normally successful. From a technical standpoint, it is about technical maturity. From a marketing standpoint, it is about integration into a supply chain. From a management systems view, it is a shift in the paradigms of quality. Technology transfer is defined as applying new ideas into products
