Abstract :
The optical distribution of a 9.95328 Gb/s signal to 8,388,608 terminals is demonstrated using cascaded laser diode (LD)-pumped/Er doped optical amplifiers and optical distribution networks. As a system application, with this bitrate, 64 digital (HD)TV channels at 155.52 Mb/s can be transmitted simultaneously to all terminals
