Abstract
A concept demonstration of a code-correlation OTDR reflectometer is performed with improved sensitivity and < 1 cm resolution. It is shown that this approach can exceed conventional OTDR techniques in performance and eliminate dead-zones in the measurement, while being based upon commercially available optical component technology
