Abstract
In this article, dynamic wireless BAN channel measurement results using a male specimen in a radio anechoic chamber, and the statistical channel model of body surface propagation with dynamic movement of a human being were presented. We found that the log-normal and Weibull distribution can provide a good characterization of dynamic channel behavior due to small and large movements, respectively, in the BAN channel. In addition, the temporal channel coherency at various receiving positions was investigated to understand the variability of the channel behavior.
