Abstract
We introduce a new concept of spatiotemporal contrast and demonstrate its relevance in experiments with high field lasers. Methods of mitigating effect of limited spatiotemporal contrast are discussed. Double-pass hollow-fiber cleaner for contrast improvement is proposed.
