Abstract :
The authors describe modeling the recommended machine-to-machine interface, namely the Q3 interface of telecommunication management networks (TMNs). A proper modeling of Q3 to efficiently communicate management information increases the flexibility of the network and enables the evolution of technologies and services. The need of high-level representation in modeling TMN interfaces to achieve the above benefits is demonstrated
