Abstract
We report dispersion-guided resonances and bandgap-guided resonances in semiconductor waveguide-coupled hexagonal photonic-crystal-embedded microcavities. Our two-dimensional finite-difference time-domain simulations reveal highly efficient coupled high-Q resonances in both types of resonances.
