Abstract :
We have developed a parallel computation method of the magnetic field for rotating machines using the three-dimensional finite element method with edge elements, which can run on PC clusters. The developed method is based on the domain decomposition method. In the developed method, the block ICCG method is adopted to solve the linear equation. The performance of the developed method running on a PC cluster is quantitatively clarified.
