Abstract
Agriculture is the foundation of the national economy, as the subject of agricultural production, households play a crucial part in rural and national development. Thus, increasing farmers´ income is not only related to rural economic development, improvement of farmers´ living standard and countryside stability but also related to the overall situation of economic and social development. Heilongjiang is a big agricultural province, however, the rate of increment of farmers´ per capital net income was rather slow in the last few years, and rural economic development has fallen behind compared with urban economic development. Utilizing grey system theory, this paper analyses related factors which affect rural households´ income in Heilongjiang Province. It analyses and illustrates the major factors and provides scientific basis for formulating effective countermeasures to enhance farmers´ income.
