Abstract :
A system concept for the distribution of analog AM TV signals is presented. Based on this concept, non-trivial requirements for the key components and modules are derived. Direct optical feedback and incoherent multiple path interference are likely to deteriorate the system´s carrier-to-noise ratio (CNR) if no proper attention is paid to reflection levels, whereas distortion caused by far end optical feedback and coherent MPI can remain acceptably low
