Abstract
The importance of climate change issues keeps increasing in ICT area recently. Introducing new electric power feeding systems is one of the practical approaches to reduce the green house gas emission of ICT systems. DC power systems are known as to increase energy efficiencies for digital equipments by reducing the number of electricity conversions. They are effective especially when applied for high density digital loads such as Internet data centers. In this paper, efforts to utilize DC power systems in Korea are introduced, and related issues are discussed.
