Abstract :
The fuzzy rule based approach has been proven its value in the design of certain control systems. A common goal of the fuzzy approach and any conventional approach is good design of control systems. The modeling issue and stability, important in any design, are discussed. Some new aspects brought by fuzzy approach to control engineering are commented on and, the importance of blending of fuzzy control and conventional control is emphasized
