Abstract
A smooth adaptive maneuvering controller is developed for a class of nonlinear systems with uncontrollable unstable linearization. In the case of the bound of unknown time-varying parameters need not be known, the controller can not only ensure the system output to track a desired path with an arbitrary small error, but also force the tracking speed satisfy a desired speed assignment.
