Abstract
The state space partitioning in the interface of the hybrid control system is modeled using covering half spaces. This formulation extends a previously introduced model. The covering half spaces are used to define a set of plant events, and a discrete event system model is generated which captures the behavior of the plant and interface of the hybrid control system
